This antique medical specimen is quite captivating, and has a beautifully aged patina. This skull was articulated by Clay Adams, and the original stamp is still lightly visible on the left parietal bone. Most of the dentition is missing; some of which was lost ante-mortem and some lost post-mortem. The calvarium is cut and secured with pins and hooks, and the mandible is articulated on springs. There is a crack that goes through the right side of the mandible, which was repaired at one point in time. This delightful specimen has excellent bone density throughout, and would be a welcome addition to any collection.
