This gorgeous human skull has beautiful coloring throughout. The calvarium is uncut, and the mandible is unarticulated. Roughly half of the dentition is missing. The orbits and nasal cavity are extremely well-preserved.  A unique characteristic of this skull is that it has a persistent metopic suture; a feature that is typically only found in infants and children, but will occasionally persist into adulthood in rare cases. There is an old, hand-written label on the back of the skull which reads, "820." This wonderful specimen has many great features, and would make a lovely addition to any collection. It would be perfect for anatomical study and reference.
