This captivating medical specimen has great bone density throughout. It features a cut calvarium, which is secured with pins and hooks, and an articulated mandible on springs. The number "495" is written on the inside of the skull; likely an old inventory number. All of the dentition is present, aside from a mandibular bicuspid that was lost ante-mortem, and a few teeth with chipped pieces missing. The orbits are extremely well-preserved. The nasal cavity is in excellent condition, with some conchae missing. This spectacular medical specimen would be perfect for anatomical study and reference, and would make a stunning addition to any collection.
