This antique, medieval vellum leaf comes from the Latin Book of Hours (aka Horarium). It is roughly 600 years old, and gorgeously hand-painted. The page itself measures roughly 8"x11", which is quite rare, given that most pages of this time were much smaller, so as to be portable. It is incredibly well-preserved, and has been expertly framed between two pieces of glass, so that both sides of the page are visible. This incredible piece of history is quite rare, and makes for a beautiful display.
