This antique display piece was articulated and created by the legendary company, Somso. It features 4 different temporal bones, labeled as: 1) Mastoidectomy, 2) Radical Mastoid Operation, 3) Labyrinth Operation, 4) Topography of the Labyrinth. These are real human bones, not plastic replicas such as the ones they create today. The original tag and Somso label are still present, and the bottom is stamped, "Made in Western Germany." This gorgeous display piece would make a phenomenal addition to any collection, and is an important part of medical history.
